What is Carbon Türkiye?
Carbon Türkiye is an İstanbul-based climate-technology holding that develops products helping organizations measure, report and offset their carbon footprint. Founded in 2025, the company brings every stage of greenhouse-gas management under one roof, with each product specialized in its own field.
What products does Carbon Türkiye offer?
The holding has two products: Carbonlogy, a carbon accounting platform that measures and reports greenhouse-gas emissions in line with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064; and CarbonNotr, an offsetting marketplace where verified carbon credits are bought and sold. Each product is covered in detail on its own website.
What is the difference between Carbonlogy and CarbonNotr?
Carbonlogy is for measurement and reporting — it calculates your emissions and produces audit-ready reports. CarbonNotr is for offsetting — it lets you compensate measured emissions with verified carbon credits. Most organizations first measure with Carbonlogy, then offset their remaining emissions with CarbonNotr.
Are carbon accounting and carbon offsetting the same thing?
No. Carbon accounting is the process of measuring and reporting an organization's greenhouse-gas emissions — it answers the question “how much?”. Carbon offsetting is compensating measured emissions by supporting verified projects that reduce or remove emissions elsewhere. You measure first, then reduce, then offset what remains.
Is carbon reporting mandatory in Turkey?
Greenhouse-gas monitoring and reporting obligations in Turkey are expanding gradually; companies that export to the European Union also face indirect reporting requirements through mechanisms such as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the CSRD. To clarify the scope of your obligations it is advisable to check current legislation — and to build your inventory early, even if you are not yet in scope.

Which standards is Carbon Türkiye built on?
Our products are built on international sustainability frameworks: the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064 for greenhouse-gas accounting, GLEC for logistics emissions, the CSRD for EU reporting and the SBTi for science-based targets. Our calculations are designed to be examined by independent verifiers.
